How to Choose a T-Shirt: Men’s Guide

Fashion is all about showing yourself through attire and looks. Nowadays, T-shirts are on trend in the fashion world. T-shirt is very versatile, you can style it according to the occasion, like if you want casually dress up, then you can wear it with Shorts and Capri’s, for a workout or gyming you can style it with joggers, track pants. As well you can get a formal look just by layer it with a blazer and jeans.

So, now the question is how to choose a T-shirt perfectly, what things need to be considered while buying T-shirts. Here, we will discuss some points that you should consider when choosing tee.

How to Choose a T-Shirt

Fit

Size/Tightness. Fit is the base of good vogue. But while we usually consider this dimension in relation to clothing such as suits and dress shirts, but it is also great to have a good fit in your T-shirt. A fit T-shirt neither is too bulging nor too snug. If it is too big, it will move and sink like a pillow and remain unflattering.

If a t-shirt is too tight and you will look like a packed sausage like a look that can read as some combination of intoxicating, garish, and/or douchey. If you are in a good body appearance, you can lean towards tighter over looser. If you are lifting the extra weight, the looser leans towards a fit - but it doesn't go too far, because too much extra clothing will only make you look bigger instead of smaller.

Sleeves: The sleeve of the tee should be approximately half of your upper arm. If you are too tall, a slightly stretched sleeve may look proportional.

Length: The lower edge of the tee should not hit more than your hips, it should be great enough to cover your waistband, and also good if you elongate a few inches below it.

Shape: Avoid wearing boxed tees like a sandwich board with sleeves. You need the tee to be cut so that it follows the shape of your body.

A well-fitting tee that beats all of these molds can be difficult to find but is well worth watching. You can explore the variety of tees in Outflits, hope, you will find what you are looking for.

Material

Usually, choosing T-shirts made from 100% cotton is one of the best ways to go. Cotton tees are natural, light, relaxed, and static-resistant, cotton gives you a great feel. A 50/50 combination of polyester is a good choice; Synthetic fiber is less breathable, easily wearable, and grows static, but these t-shirt absorbs less moisture and is inclined to wrinkles and shrinking.

T-shirts made entirely of unique synthetic clothing can wipe sweat better, but are only suitable for workout wear, and unless you are working a big sweat, feel much less comfortable than pure cotton. Thin tees in a neutral color also look more like undershirts than T-shirts. The main difference between the two outfits is the weight of the fabric; Undershirts are thinner and fit more tightly to absorb sweat. So be wise to choose tees.

Color/Pattern/Design

T-shirts are divided into two broad categories: classic and graphic.

Classic

The classic looking tees are those that come in traditional solid colors:

  • White: A white tee is like an evergreen outfit, when paired with jeans, it still echoes "rebels for no reason" and you can style it with any bottom

  • Navy: forever sharp-looking.

  • Gray:  a favorable color, but clearly shows armpit perspiration.

  • Black:  This is the hardest to pull off, as it feels a bit stiff and hard (although it may be what you're going for).

Depending on your skin tone, other colors ranging from red to greens can also work well. These classic tees give you a more casual and classic look.

Graphic Tees

Graphic tees came with solid colors, patterns, or some graphics and thus they have a more modern, and youthful feel. They are also more easygoing. And the boulder / bigger the graphic gets, the funkier it becomes.

Thus, all types of graphic tees are best reserved for things like going to the gym, running errands, and beach parties, get together’s. Tees from your alma mater or your favorite sports team work well for watching the game at home, with friends or at the stadium, but not a good outfit for dinner parties.

Prefer graphic tees with attractive and elegant designs; Avoid huge, screaming logos, metallurgy, fun gags, and ironic images, all of which are read as inferior and rather childish.

T-shirts are the most common garment in men's casual wardrobes. But this does not mean that you grasp them without thinking. As of now pay attention to things that discussed above like fit, color, and style, you can choose a classic piece of t-shirt that looks great and looks sharp.
